Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

GlobePapeterie is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all visitors, regardless of ability or technology. We believe everyone should be able to browse, shop, and check out with confidence, and we continuously work to improve the experience for all users.

Standards we follow

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility. These guidelines cover four principles:

  • •Perceivable — content is available to the senses (text alternatives, sufficient contrast).
  • •Operable — interface can be used with a keyboard or assistive technology.
  • •Understandable — content and navigation behave predictably.
  • •Robust — works with current and future assistive tools.

What we've done

  • ✓Semantic HTML structure with proper headings and landmarks.
  • ✓Alternative text on all product images and meaningful graphics.
  • ✓Keyboard navigation for all interactive elements (menus, cart, forms).
  • ✓Visible focus indicators for keyboard users.
  • ✓Sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds.
  • ✓ARIA labels on icons and buttons that lack visible text.
  • ✓Responsive layout that supports browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content.

Known limitations

We are aware of the following areas where accessibility could be improved:

  • •Some third-party services we use (e.g. live chat, payment provider) may not fully meet WCAG AA standards. We are in contact with these providers and will update this page as improvements become available.
  • •Older product videos may lack captions. New videos are published with captions.

We welcome your feedback

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on our site, or have suggestions on how we can improve, please let us know. We take every report seriously and aim to respond within 2 business days.

Ongoing improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing process, not a one-time fix. We regularly review our site against WCAG 2.1 AA criteria and will continue to invest in improvements. This statement will be updated as our site evolves.
